Dyer County – Dyersburg Relief Resources

Dyer County – Dyersburg is one of the counties deemed a Federal Disaster Area by FEMA. Please follow the State Attorney General’s Tips for filing a claim with FEMA and your Insurance Company.

The following information is from Disaster Recovery Services of Dyer County.

First United Methodist Church, at the corner of Main and McGaughey in downtown Dyersburg.

* The Dyersburg/Dyer County Union Mission is collecting household items to set aside specifically for those affected by the flooding. Residents in need of clothes, food, temporary shelter, furniture or other emergency services may visit the mission, located at 213 Cedar St., West, in Dyersburg.

* First Citizens National Bank donated $3,000 to the Dyer County chapter of the American Red Cross and is collecting Red Cross donations at each of its 19 branches.

* Dyer County Disaster Recovery Services is currently collecting monetary donations to benefit flood victims. The DRS has plans to connect donations of services, appliances, bedding, furniture, food and clothing in the coming weeks.
