On Loyalty To A Newspaper
Jason Tippett has a few words.
There’s no love lost on my part for the executives of my newspaper’s parent company. I question more and more of the decisions being made at the top of this newspaper, in fact. But I’m very loyal to my people, to the other workers in the newsroom who do the actual reporting and layout and photography, looking for the facts first, and only later if at all do they think about which advertiser might be angry because we reported the truth about some business sector.
