Going After The Kids To Get To The Parents

Betsy Phillips makes a point this morning at Pith in the Wind regarding bills SB 2693/HB 2490.

It’s one thing to talk about adults. But to demand “research on the adverse impact of the enrollment of students who cannot prove lawful residence in the United States” in order to measure the impact of their presence on taxpayers is just hilariously evil.

The cutlines on the pictures make me love this website immensely. Thank you Pith editors.

I have another question. Who is supposed to pay for this research that these dudes want? It will have to be compiled because teachers are slammed right now or is that just another one of the bureaucratic responsibilities that you want them to do?

Oh, yeah, us.
