Not Exactly Grassroots Anymore

The bottom line is the tea parties were a grassroots issue. And now, not so much, because there is a difference between holding a sign in protest and paying nearly$549 for a rubber chicken dinner just like every other single political event in the nation.

It ceased to be different in that respect. The Tea Party movement was about having a voice but when you put a price tag on it, it’s a whole new ballgame.
