Although Steve Steffens, Steve Ross and I are working together on this project, we still will be blogging at our regular sites. If you are seeing this post, you are experiencing the “soft” launch. Over the weekend, we will be making some technical and content management adjustments as we put our feet into the water. We are excited about the prospect of Speak To Power and you will be seeing small adjustments over the weekend such as our bios, aggregation and some new original content.
Just so you know who we are, here are a few things we’ve been talking about at our personal abodes this week.
Steffens, also known as Left Wing Cracker, offers thoughts and prayers to Ophelia Ford in a touching post that broaches the question that maybe the senator might want to concentrate all of her efforts on getting better and stepping down.
Vibinc, the other Memphis Steve, put up a post about how patience is important in the political process and that goals aren’t always going to come immediately.
Finally, I’ve been in Memphis and have been learning about the intricate and complexing infrastructure about Bluff City politics where I get schooled by a schooteacher who breaks it down for me.
And if we haven’t said it before, thanks for joining us on this journey.

Oh way cool, a new progressive blog project! Good luck, folks. Let me know when it's time to blogroll you …
